This morning I took things slow. I took a long shower, took time to dry my hair, ate a leisurely breakfast, packed my lunch, read some, all before heading off to work. So, yesterday I found out that a graduate student that is in the same program as me, just under a different professor on campus, committed suicide. He was about ready to graduate with a degree (early, mind you) and was a great student. I didn't know the guy personally, but had seen and interacted with him at weekly seminars.
